Radiant Burners
Unlike induction heat that requires specific cookware with a ferritic bottom, radiant heat utilizes infrared resistance under a ceramic hob that supports the majority of cookware collections. For highest efficiency, cookware bottoms should always be flat against the heat source, ensuring constant contact for consistent cooking results. Glass Cooktop Cleaning + Care Please Note: Take special care to eliminate the presence of sugars, such as in the preparations of jams, on the Radiant Heat Burners. The heating of the sugar may caramelize and can become permanently embedded into the glass surface.
The glass-ceramic cooktop may be cleaned with a simple household degreaser, white vinegar or a combination of baking soda and water for tougher spills, and a scraper may be occasionally necessary.
