While its origins were that of a small Foundry, the transformation of Lacanche as a stove range manufacturer was made possible thanks to new advancements in industrial production, including second fusion cast iron at the beginning of 19th century.

These bespoke Ranges and stoves, for both professional and personal use, because the first of their kind to be handcrafted in France, and the 1900’s welcomed a new shift to more elegant, elaborate Ranges, with the introduction of sheet steel and colored enamel - Ranges that even today are sought after by collectors worldwide.


Evolutions in ergonomic advancements, including innovative heating and temperature regulation, catapulted Lacanche Ranges into the beloved French heritage brand of today, where Ranges continue to exceed requirements of International standards as well as European regulation on safety and energy performance.
